Anyone who communicates for a living, or who does public speaking as part of their work, knows how challenging it can be to come across in the right ways, influence others, win support, or control the narrative. We share the neuroscience and psychology that explains what’s going on for the speaker and listeners in an exchange, and therefore what to do at the organizational, team, and individual levels for people to master communication.

Science-Based Change

Neuroscience and psychology reveal a great deal about what stops people from changing, and what enables them to change. We share the science that explains what organizations, teams, and individuals must avoid - what gets in the way of behavior change - and what the key active ingredients are that must be there to see change happen. We guide organizations, teams, and individuals to then take the steps necessary to achieve breakthroughs.

Science-Based Organizational Health

We explain, from a neuroscience and psychology perspective, what factors matter most to create thriving organizations - with high-functioning teams, well-being, engagement, trust, open collaboration, psychological safety, and a focus on the right business priorities. We help organizations, teams, and individuals understand how they are often unintentionally rewarding the wrong behaviors, and interfering with the right ones; and how to reverse this.

Live Workshops

We always start by listening to you. Each organization and team is unique - your specific needs, challenges, and opportunities demand that you receive more than just a generic session. We consider your context when identifying the right content, right amount, and right habits to offer. In the workshops, the audience learns just enough of the science to understand why and how to take on new mindsets and behaviors. We leverage the science of learning to provide deeply meaningful experiences in the workshops, in which people take on substantial and often profound shifts in how they think, feel, and behave. Based on the science of habit formation, we help participants turn their new insights and actions into new ongoing habits.

Formats include in-person and virtual webinars to meet your schedule. We can serve Americas, EMEA, and APac timezones.

Digital (with option for Live Q&A)

We provide brief digital versions of many of our most useful insights. These always include just enough of the science so that learners understand why and how to change their behavior, and then we move the learners onto activities to help them put that learning into action.

This is an asynchronous learning approach, which simplifies scheduling.

It can be combined with the option for periodic live Q&A with our faculty, to leverage the science of social learning. Learners are able to bring their own challenges and questions, and request guidance on their specific context, as well as learn from and with their peers.

Community Membership

We provide a sales-free forum for a limited sized group of business and people leaders who are drawn to the value of neuroscience and psychology, and seek a group of like-minded peers with whom to discuss latest trends, and share peer advice and perspectives.

Facilitation

We facilitate group or team discussions and activities, and facilitate challenging conversations or meetings between multiple parties. We listen deeply both to what each party says and for what their underlying positive intentions are. We help all parties capture what is most important from each perspective, have empathy for the others with whom they are connecting, and come together to find the the best overall solutions. In addition to following the science of communication in the ways we interact, we also teach just enough of the science so that all parties can communicate most effectively on their own, during and after our facilitation.

Coaching

We work directly with executives for one-on-one coaching. Our specialties include public speaking, communication, productivity, managing stress, time management, transitions to new roles, and navigating interpersonal dynamics within teams and across the organization. Our methods are based on best practices from neurolinguistic programming, outcome oriented therapies, and the science of behavior change. We seek to listen and understand first, with the belief that when you truly understand the beliefs, capabilities, goals, values, and so on, of an individual, as well as their context, then the solution is much easier to find. We then coach individuals to use their own strengths to the best of their abilities, while guiding them to develop as needed.

Our specialties include learning design, built on the science of learning and behavior change; the design of high-functioning teams, based on the science of motivation and interpersonal dynamics; and the design of work, based on the science of productivity.
